Binance to Shut Down Binance Pool and Cloud MiningĀ
  • Binance Pool and related services close November 10 at 07:00 UTC.
  • Miners must redirect hashrate or lose share credit after cutoff.
  • Binance frames the move as a routine product review.

Binance will discontinue Binance Pool and several related services on November 10, 2026, at 07:00 UTC, according to an announcement posted on X. The shutdown includes Pool Savings, Cloud Mining and Transaction Accelerator, ending a mining-related product line that Binance has operated for more than six years.

Which Binance Pool Services Are Closing?

In its official post, Binance said the closure is ā€œpart of our ongoing review of products and services.ā€ The shutdown includes: Binance Pool, Pool Savings, Cloud Mining, Transaction Accelerator and related features.

Miners connected to the pool must redirect their hashrate to another provider before the cutoff. Hashrate still pointed at Binance Pool after 07:00 UTC on November 10 will no longer earn share credit.

Binance said the Binance Pool page will remain accessible until November 24, 2026, so users can retrieve their records.

The exchange did not disclose the pool’s current hashrate, user numbers or a list of supported assets and networks in the announcement. It also did not name a recommended alternative pool.

Why Is Binance Shutting Down Its Mining Services?

Binance launched its mining pool more than six years ago and expanded it with savings, cloud mining and transaction acceleration tools. The company described the closure as part of a regular product review rather than a response to a specific event.

According to data published in Hashrate Index’s 2025 mining market review, Binance Pool accounted for approximately 2.3% of Bitcoin’s network hashrate. The largest mining pools, like Foundry USA (30.1%) and Antpool (18.3%), held significantly larger shares at the time.

On the Flipside

  • Binance gave no detailed reason for the shutdown, leaving room for speculation about the decision.
  • Miners with limited time may face short-term friction when switching pools and reconfiguring their hardware.

Why This Matters

The closure removes a major exchange-linked mining option, pushing affected miners to independent pools. Binance has not signaled any wider impact on the crypto market.
