Axie Infinity: Plans for 2022

Even though Axie Infinity became the biggest crypto gaming hit of 2021, there is no room for complacency in the rapidly growing play-to-earn blockchain industry. Sky Mavis, the developers of the game, understand this and have planned some radical development for Axie Infinity.

Recently, the team introduced a new teaser trailer. Despite its shortness, the video provided a glimpse of the well-anticipated 3D style of the game, which is going to become the main visual style of the game this year.

Moreover, the game is going to break new ground. Project K, where K stands for “kingdom,” will expand the Axie world with land sales and further gameplay developments. The last one will be provided in three stages though. At first, the Axie team is going to implement resources. Later on, jobs, quests, and other social activities will be available. The last stage will finish the list with group gameplay mechanics such as battle royale style of fights.
