AMC to Launch Mayfair Witches NFTs from Anne Rice’s Immortal Universe

• AMC has announced they are collaborating with Orange Comet, a premium Web3 entertainment and gaming company. 
• The partnership will introduce The Mayfair Witches NFT Passes, which will be a key for fans to enter a unique digital experience based on the Anne Rice Immortal Universe.  

The announcement is part of Orange Comet and AMC’s new expansion deal. The two companies previously collaborated to launch the sold-out Interview with the Vampire Immortal Pass. The latest joint project invites users to enter the Immortal Universe and explore a digital world full of witches, vampires, and all things mystical and is set to mint in early March this year.

A Mystical Journey

The Mayfair Witches NFT Pass will be exclusively available on OpenSea, starting March 7, 2023. The NFT pass will allow fans to explore the virtual experience and participate in a collect-to-earn metaverse experience. 

The Pass will allow participants to journey through the shared world of both landmark series, The Vampire Chronicles and Lives of the Mayfair Witches.

A-list superstar Alexandra Daddario plays the protagonist of the ongoing TV show based on Rice’s best-selling trilogy. Esta Spalding and Michelle Ashford, who previously worked on “Masters of Sex,” will join as executive producers and writers. 

The Mayfair Witches NFT Pass will come in three different rarities. While each pass will grant holders perks within the metaverse, it will also reportedly offer access to exclusive, members-only virtual and real-life benefits. 

Some of these perks include access to autographed collectibles and merchandise and “witching hours,” where the community can virtually connect and special guests. Other benefits include trips to special events, items, and more.

• AMC bought the rights to 14 of Anne Rice’s novels from the Vampire Chronicles and Lives of Mayfair Witches series. 
• The Mayfair Witches Pass will release a week after the TV show’s season finale.
