Things to buy with Bitcoin and Dogecoin

Cryptocurrencies aren’t just for buying anymore, we’re way past that now.

Crypto is now a form of payment with users able to pay for certain goods and services with the likes of Bitcoin (BTC), Dogecoin (DOGE) and Litecoin (LTC).

The usage of cryptocurrency as an alternative to traditional currency is a huge milestone for the industry that at one point, and still now in some circles, is not given the proper respect that it deserves.

Could FIREPIN Token (FRPN) become an in-game currency?

While there are no apparent plans for FIREPIN Token (FRPN) to become an in-game currency for any metaverse game in the space, it’s a possibility that should not become wholly ignored.

The likes of Decentraland (MANA), The Sandbox (SAND) and Axie Infinity (AXS) are the leading metaverse tokens with these tokens also acting as in-game currency in their respective virtual metaverses.

The positive thing about FIREPIN is that they have plans to invest in so many sectors of the virtual reality sphere, they’ve given themselves every opportunity to launch an in-game currency should they decide to go in that direction.

With planned investments into NFT game development, and 3D and metaverse VR games, FRPN has planted their roots in the virtual world and its one they’re hellbent on succeeding in.

Speaking of planting their roots, FIREPIN has several milestones regarding their metaverse ambitions coming up this year, including phases one and two of its metaverse game development, set to be completed by the fourth quarter of 2022.

The project also has plans to build a game studio by the third quarter of 2022, in yet another demonstration of FRPN’s determination in becoming a player in the virtual reality and play-to-earn sector.

What can you buy with Bitcoin (BTC)?

With Bitcoin (BTC) becoming legal tender in El Salvador last year and more recently in the Central African Republic, everyday purchases such as groceries are being paid for in BTC.

Bitcoin can also be used to pay for more luxury items like cars, watches and real estate.

Technology products from the likes of Microsoft and AT&T can be bought with the cryptocurrency, as well as subscriptions to the newspaper publication Chicago Sun-Times, which began accepting BTC on its platform in 2014.

Others followed suit with Time Inc also accepting crypto for digital subscriptions in 2014 too.

What can you buy with Dogecoin (DOGE)?

Dogecoin’s (DOGE) relationship with Elon Musk has profited them in more ways than one.

Not only did Musk help raise the global popularity of Dogecoin which has helped the meme coin rise to become the 12th biggest cryptocurrency in the world, amassing a market cap of over $17 billion, according to data from CoinMarketCap, but DOGE now has a tangible relationship with Tesla.

Musk, who has operated as CEO of the company for 14 years, announced earlier this year, via a tweet, that Tesla will now start accepting Dogecoin (DOGE) as payment for specific Tesla merchandise such as Cyberquads for kids, and a Cyberwhistle.
