Crypto Influencers Unite to Launch Secretive Codename V Project

While there is not much known about the secretive venture, known as Codename V, at this present juncture, hype has been steadily building in recent weeks.

Influencers in the crypto world aren’t so different from their counterparts in the gaming, makeup, or entertainment worlds. Generally speaking, they offer followers a front-row seat to their lives while disseminating trend-setting opinions on various topics and products.

In crypto, of course, these YouTube/Telegram celebrities are in the habit of discussing the price action of various digital assets while jetting back and forth to conferences and events in exotic locations. Now, though, a pair of crypto influencers are doing something different.

YouTubers Unveil Codename V

With a combined 527,000 YouTube subscribers, MMCrypto and CryptoMo aren’t doing too bad for themselves. But this month, rather than passing comments about the market and poring over trading screens, they are preparing to leverage their knowledge and fans to launch a blockchain-based project of their own.

While there is not much known about the secretive venture, known as Codename V, at this present juncture, hype has been steadily building in recent weeks. Over on Telegram, for instance, the group’s main channel has attracted over 20,000 subscribers eager to learn more. There’s also a channel dedicated to alerts that is closing in on 40,000.

In a video update posted November 5, MMCrypto – real name Christopher Jaszczyski – teased what might be in store, saying, “I missed out on Axie Infinity, for example, I missed out on Decentraland. Actually, I wanted to invest in the ICO back then. These things made like 100s and even 1000s of X’s, so we just thought, we want to get our community.

“And we want to find a way – how we can get our community in completely for free… the whole space is gonna be big.”

In short, it sounds like a metaverse-focused launchpad of, one that democratizes access to promising token raises. Along for the ride are investors such as Crypto Lark, Davincij15, The Moon Carl, and Altcoin Daily, the latter of which recently surpassed the hallowed one million subscriber mark on YouTube.

Multi-Chain Support and 50M Tokens

Although details are thin on the ground at present, MMCrypto and CryptoMo have confirmed that the community-powered project will have multi-chain support including Ethereum, Binance Smart Chain (BSC), FTM, and Matic/Polygon – with more to follow.

Free tokens will be disseminated to active members in the Telegram group and team tokens will be locked for a period of 12 months. The only fully unlocked tokens (initial 30 million, plus a further 20 million) will be those that are distributed for free to community members.

Codename V has already tied up partnerships with the likes of hedge funds Brilliance Ventures and Hype Partners, decentralized file sharing protocol Skynet, and blockchain marketing firm MarketAcross.

It’s clearly too early to say whether Codename V is the market’s next runaway success. But given the project’s momentum, you wouldn’t want to bet against it. For the time being, would-be ‘Varriors’ are patiently awaiting more news from the official Telegram channel, which will help to flesh out the creators’ vision.
