The Ethereum (ETH) space experienced an exciting past two weeks with multiple teams launching their scaling zkEVM projects.

One of the teams that launched a zkEVM is Polygon. Now the project wants to return the favor to its users by dropping them a secret NFT project on the newly launched zkEVM. Here’s how you get can it.

Polygon to Drop Secret NFTs on zkEVM

Polygon is known to be one of the most community-focused projects in the crypto space. It’s no wonder the team announced on Thursday that it would drop secret NFTs to its users to mark the launch of Polygon zkEVM.

Polygon said that the holders of the commemorative soulbound NFTs “To Ethereum, with Love” will be able to receive a new NFT on the Polygon zkEVM. Polygon calls the yet-to-be-unveiled NFTs the “first NFT collection on Polygon zkEVM.”

The best part? Users still have four days until April 3rd to mint the “To Ethereum, with Love” NFTs and later be rewarded with the secretive zkEVM NFTs. They can mint them on fair.xyz.

The current commemorative soulbound NFTs are not transferable. The new ones that Polygon is about to drop to its users will be transferable and have the same ID as the soulbound NFTs. This means that users will be able to sell and buy them or transfer them to other wallets.

On the Flipside

  • Polygon has yet to share information about the new NFT collection or when users will access it.

Why You Should Care

Supporting blockchain projects almost always comes with certain benefits. In this case, Polygon users that want to be part of history can mint the commemorative zkEVM NFT and then get rewarded with NFTs minted on Polygon’s newly launched zkEVM.
