MeataGear is a relatively young crypto gaming project with the team of 16 people beginning development of the video game based on blockchain technology just 5 months ago. They have taken the concept of battling robots and set it in a 2D world with a pixel art graphic style. At this time, the project is still in its internal beta stage, although there have been several accomplishments along the way. Â
Recently, the project finished the listing process of its native token GEAR on DEXs and CEXs, including Huobi. Â
In terms of gameplay, MetaGear is an arcade fighting game with battle robots. The player’s aim is to build their very own battle bot and try their hand in the local arena. Each victory rewards players with internal crypto, which can be spent on upgrades for the bot, or on NFTs. Â

The release for Android and web browsers is scheduled for later in March, while the iOS version is set for release in Q2 2022. The developers have promised to deliver the additional features of an open world and custom garage by the end of the year. Â
